Recently at The Wedding Seamstress, we altered a beautiful A-line organza Saison Blanche Couture gown. It had very intricate silk chiffon pleating over lay on the bodice and a silk organza shell with a seam right down the middle of the dress, which is very rare thing to see. Saison Blanche was formed in 1993 as a very small client based designer, they eventually wanted to expand the reach of their audience and released their first line in 2003, as a very small bridal couture line and a second hand line with more moderately priced boutique gowns. Now Saison Blanche has expanded the types of dress they construct, designing Bridesmaids and Special occasion dresses for the customer who appreciates the fashion world and hand construction they put into their gowns. Since 2012 they have expanded their use of fabrics and started to use lighter weight materials such as silk organza, silk taffeta and ethereal tulle to give the bride an appearance as if she is floating across the room while wearing it. Saison Blanche has stayed true to their original design and construction all these years and will keep making beautiful dresses for years to come. Saison Blanche is sold nationwide.
